Paradise
Found
Farm
is
home
to the
annual
Whidbey
Island
Fabulous
Fall
Fiber
Sale
(WIFFFS).
During
the
sale
(which
takes
place
rain
or
shine),
fiber
producers
from
the
Northwest
offer
fiber
in
fleece,
roving,
and
handspun
yarn
from
locally
raised
llamas,
alpacas,
goats,
sheep,
and
other
animals.
They
also
offer
quality
handfelted,
handwoven,
and
knitted
garments,
hats,
scarves,
shawls,
and
gloves
in
dyed
and
natural
colors,
Japanese
kumihimo
braiding;
books,
supplies,
and
class
information.
Most
vendors
take
cash
or
check.
Throughout
the
day
there
are
demonstrations
to
watch,
critters
to
visit,
a
reception
tent
to
enjoy,
and
more.
The
2010
Sale
will
take
place
on
Saturday,
September
18
from 9
a.m.
to
4:30
p.m.
at
4081
Springwater
Lane,
Clinton,

Cunningham
is
working
with
the
Committee
of the
NYS
Sheep
and
Wool
Festival
to
include
Pygoras
in the
festival.
They
denied
the
inclusion
of a
show
for
2010
but
did
agree
to
give
two
stalls
to
exhibit
the
breed.
One
stall
is for
animals
and
one
must
be for
education.
Candace
will
be
there
to man
the
booth
and
would
like
to
encourage
other
PBA
members
to
come
out
and
show
their
support
and
help
man
the
booth.
She
will
continue
to
work
towards
having
a show
for
the
2011
festival
and
then
the
2012
but
that
will
require
the
Festival
Committee
seeing
that
the
festival
would
benefit
from
it.
